Trusted Voices

Supporting essential public health messaging

Trusted Voice Logo

We are proud to say we are known as a Trusted Voice.

Community Action Network were commissioned by Public Health Dorset to work in partnership with Dorset Community Action (DCA) to support the development of Trusted Voices in the community to help better engage with the broad range of communities across the county.

Set up initially to support public health messaging during the pandemic, the project has grown and grown. Those involved in the project continue to share messages about Covid-19 and the vaccinations, but now also include messaging to help with the cost of living, as well as mental and physical health.

We are a network of ‘Trusted Voices Champions’ who work together to share messages with their communities.

By being a Trusted Voice Champion we can help reach as many people as possible in the local community and ensure we hear genuine and accurate messages about what support is needed to aid recovery from the pandemic, support with the cost of living and mental and physical wellbeing.
