Your Hub for Skills That Shape the First 1,001 Days
PROFESSIONALS HUB
The first 1,001 days lay the foundations for lifelong wellbeing, and the professionals who walk alongside families play a vital role in that journey. This hub brings together everything you need to strengthen your practice: training, tools, insights, and real-world resources that help you support early relationships with confidence and compassion.
Our IMHCF L1 Training Course invites you to step into baby’s world…
In those first months, a baby’s brain is extraordinarily open, growing at astonishing speed, yet deeply sensitive to stress, separation, and the echoes of a parent’s own story. These early experiences become the architecture of emotional wellbeing, influencing how we connect, trust, and thrive throughout life.
This course will gives you the insight and confidence to notice what the baby might be communicating, to appreciate the moments that matter, and to understand the impact of their earliest experiences.
Our 90-minute Introduction to R.I.S.K offers a practical introduction to infant mental health.
Introduction to R.I.S.K helps you see the world through the baby’s eyes, appreciate the impact of those first relationships, and play your part in creating safer, kinder beginnings for families. No essays, no pre-work — just one meaningful session that stays with you long after it ends.
DorPIP use assessment tools and team-based supervision to shape support for families. This helps practitioners notice progress and respond thoughtfully, without diagnosing or labelling. Families are supported in partnership, with clear safeguarding and confidentiality boundaries shared in a calm, transparent way.
Our work supports shared understanding across services and contributes to consistent, relationship-based practice in alignment with local and national priorities.
Supporting a Skilled, Confident Workforce
