Winter Newsletter 2025

A Winter Welcome from Emma, Communications Manager at DorPIP

As we come to the end of another year, I’m delighted to reflect on what has been a truly wonderful and meaningful year for DorPIP. Across the last twelve months, we’ve seen our work continue to grow in depth, reach, and impact and none of it would be possible without the dedication of our team, the trust of our families, and the commitment of our partners. I’d also like to wish everyone a warm and happy festive season. Whether you’re celebrating quietly at home or gathering with loved ones, I hope this time brings moments of rest, connection, and joy.

A Year of Stories Our Impact Report Infant Mental Health Round Up

A Year of Stories

  • Five Years On: How Are the Babies Born During Covid Doing Now?

Exploring the long-term impact of being born into a pandemic.. on development, family life, and society. A drive to understand these hidden challenges could shape how we support this generation going forward.

  • Journey Through Fatherhood and Finding Support

Becoming a parent is often described as one of life’s most joyful milestones—but it can also be one of the most challenging. And while there’s lots of support and information for mums, dads are often left to figure things out on their own. At DorPIP, we believe it’s time to change that.

  • The Hidden Cost of Unmet Needs

One of the most powerful insights from modern science is that mental health doesn't start in childhood—it begins in the womb.

Our Year of Impact

We’re delighted to share this year’s Impact Report a reflection of the meaningful work that has taken place across DorPIP over the past twelve months.

This year’s report showcases:

  • 255 families engaged across our services

  • 124 professionals learnt more about working through a PIR lens

  • Stories and moments that bring the data to life

Behind every number sits a relationship, a baby beginning life with nurturing connections, a parent feeling more confident, a practitioner seeing families through a new lens. The report is a testament to the commitment of our team, the trust of our families, and the continued backing of our partners and funders.
