      We ask that you can commit to a minimum of 6 months in this voluntary position. This is an unpaid voluntary position. We will refund reasonable out ofpocket expenses incurred as a result of your volunteering activity.

Infant Massage Assistant Volunteer Description
As a Infant Massage Class Assistant volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting our Infant Massage Instructors during classes aimed at enhancing the well-being of both parents and their babies. Your contribution will help create a warm and nurturing environment where families can learn and practice the art of infant massage.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Greet and welcome parents and babies as they arrive, supporting the friendly and inclusive atmosphere. 
- Assist with arranging seating and ensuring a comfortable space for participants. 
- Provide guidance and support to parents during hands-on massage activities. 
- Help manage any necessary materials or props needed for the class. 
- Offer a helping hand to parents who may need assistance with their babies during the session. 
- Assist with distributing any educational materials or handouts provided by the instructors. 
- Engage with parents and build rapport, encouraging a sense of community among participants. 
- Assist in tidying up the class area after the session concludes.

Have a passion for supporting parents and infants in their journey.
Have a friendly and approachable demeanour to create a welcoming environment.
Have excellent communication skills to interact effectively with parents and instructors.
Show patience and empathy in working with parents and infants of varying needs.
Show a respect for confidentiality and the sensitive nature of the class discussions.
Be reliable and punctual attendance to ensure the smooth flow of classes.
