Regional Fundraiser Position
Are you an experienced fundraising professional wanting to make a meaningful impact on the lives of parents and infants within the charity sector?
We have an exciting opening available for a Regional Fundraiser to become integral part of the DorPIP team. DorPIP (Dorset Parent Infant Partnership) is a unique, specialist early intervention and preventative service. Focusing on the incredibly special relationship between parents and infants that develops in the first 1001 critical days of life, we help families who are struggling to form safe, secure relationships with their infants.
Job Title: Regional Fundraiser (Dorset and Surrounding areas)
Surrounding areas cover, Devon, Hampshire, Somerset, and Wiltshire.
Location: Home-based with travel requirements across region
Salary: £24,995 per annum/pro-rata plus travel expenses
Contract: Flexible (Full-time/Part-time/Term-time only available)
Reporting to: CEO
As a Regional Fundraiser, you'll be at the forefront of transforming the lives of parents and infants through your fundraising expertise. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at driving our mission of promoting infant-mental health and enhancing parent-infant relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking responsibility for planning, managing and delivering community events aligned with business plan and budgets
- Actively and regularly “network” to promote awareness of DorPIP externally and meet new business targets. Make the fundraising ‘ask’ as and when appropriate, and support others to do so
- Cultivating and amplify relationships with corporate partners, seeking sponsorship and support through their CSR programs to maximize fundraising opportunities.
Ideally you...
- Have a great track record in community fundraising showing your ability to organise and manage events and volunteers that have met or exceeded financial targets.
- Will be genuinely passionate about DorPIP’s mission in supporting parent-infant relationships, demonstrated through previous involvement, interest in related initiatives or through your own lived experience.
- Have talent and experience in motivating volunteers and helping them achieve incredible results, with the ability to manage and coordinate effectively.
